This Mocha Caramel Latte Oreo Malted Milkshake is like Dairy Queen meets Starbucks. It's cold, rich, creamy, chocolaty, and a perfect dessert to end a Sunday evening with. Or...to start a date night with, or just because you want to go a little wild!

Mocha Latte Oreo Malt served in a peach dessert glass and topped with crushed Oreos.

    Why You'll Love This Recipe

The other day, I was walking through the grocery store and saw a package of Mocha Caramel Latte Oreos, and the first thing that came to mind was a Malted Milkshake recipe. The mocha caramel latte's flavor, Oreo cookies, and coffee-flavored ice cream just called for me. Guess what? I think it's calling out to you as well. This malt shake's flavor and creamy texture will leave you in a blissful state!

    Ingredients

Ice cream: I chose to use the Coffee-flavored Blue Bell Ice cream, which worked perfectly. (See expert tips)

Cookies: Mocha Caramel Latte Oreo cookies are the staple of this whole malt.

Liquids: A little bit of whole milk is all you'll need to make the malt that perfect creamy texture.

Extras: Malted milk powder to make this a malted milkshake.

See the recipe card below for full information on ingredients and quantities.

Step 2: Blend until the cookies are fully chopped and everything is well blended. Pour the malts into cups and top with crushed Oreos.

    Expert Tips

    • Blue Bell Ice Cream is really the best store-bought ice cream out there. Sure, that could be an opinion. No, no, it's not. I feel pretty positive that it's a proven fact. However, if you are in an area where you cannot get Blue Bell, use any brand you'd like, and don't be afraid to experiment with different flavors.

    Recipe FAQs

    What is a Malted Milkshake?

A Malted Milkshake is very similar to a regular Milkshake in its ingredients. They use milk, ice cream, and other ingredients to create different flavors. The only difference is the addition of Malted Milk Powder, which is why they're called Malts or Malted Milkshakes.
