    How to make Garlic Butter

Jump to Recipe Jump to Video Print Recipe

Knowing how to make Garlic Butter is essential in every home cook's playbook. The creamy texture and savory flavor work perfectly with so many different other dishes. I've used it for Butter Boards, Topping Steaks, Mixing with Scrambled Eggs, or simply buttering a hot roll or toast. No matter how you use your Garlic Butter, it all turns out better with the Butter!

    Garlic Butter Ingredients

There are many variations and opinions on what should go into the Butter. I've found this to be the perfect mix, and I'm sure you'll love it! Use this as a starting point and then get creative and change some things. It's hard to mess up some butter!

    • Unsalted Butter
    • Minced Garlic
    • Fresh Chives
    • Fresh Italian Parsley
    • Ground Black Pepper

    Directions

This recipe is about as easy as it gets. The most crucial part is ensuring you work with softened room temperature butter.

This is exactly why I like making garlic butter directly in a butter dish. Let the Butter sit out overnight in the butter dish. By the next day, your Butter will be nice and soft, ready for all that added flavor.

Next, prepare the chives and Italian Parsley by finely dicing them all.

Lastly, add all the ingredients to the softened Butter and stir until everything is thoroughly combined.

As I mentioned, there are many different ways to use Garlic Butter. Try combining it with these other recipes for a complete culinary delight!

    • French Dip Slider Sandwiches: Spread over the top of the rolls before the gravy mix.
    • Naan Pizza: Brush the entire top surface of the Naan before topping it.
    • Escargot without the Shells: Use Garlic Butter in the Escargot Baking Dish.
    • The Best Mashed Potatoes: Replace the regular Butter.

These are just a few options, but now that you know how to make garlic butter and make it really well, Go Crazy with it!

    In conclusion

This recipe is straightforward and versatile. In addition to the ease, the texture and flavor are insanely delicious.

I'd love to hear if you've made any really outstanding changes and how you've been using your garlic butter in other recipes. Let me know in the comments.

Thank you so much for stopping by Chicken Fried Kitchen, and as usual...

    Happy Cooking!
