Naan Pizza with Italian Sausage

Follow these four steps to make the perfect Naan Pizza with Italian Sausage for an easy weeknight meal or as fantastic party food.

Ingredients

  • Plain Naan Bread
  • Arrabbiata Sauce
  • ½ lb Italian Sausage
  • ½ Yellow Onion - diced
  • Mozzarella Cheese - shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - shredded
  • Dried Parsley - for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F. Sauté the Onion and brown the Italian Sausage.
  • Spread the arrabbiata over the Naan, leaving space around the edges as a crust.
  • Top with the sausage and onion mix, then sprinkle both kinds of cheese.
  • Bake the Pizza on the bottom rack for about 10-15 minutes, then broil for about 1-½ minutes. Remove the pizzas, slice, and serve.

Notes

  • I recommend using the original flavored Naan, as the garlic is a little overpowering with the other ingredients.
  • Freshly shredded cheese is always better for melting, especially on pizza. However, pre-shredded cheese will work fine if you don't have time.
