Ingredients

  • 16 Oz Large Curd Cottage Cheese
  • 16 Oz Sour Cream
  • ¼ Cup Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Cayenne
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Celery Salt
  • 0.5 Envelope Onion Soup Mix

Instructions

  • Place Milk and Cottage cheese in a stand mixer or food processor. Mix until cottage cheese has lost its texture and became liquified.
  • Add remaining ingredients, mix well and refrigerate for at least 4 hours allowing all flavors to combine.

Notes

  • I recommend using large curd cottage cheese, so you still have some texture to the dip. Not only does this stay true to the original Tastee Onion Chip Dip, but it adds a lot to the overall presentation.
  • If you prefer to leave the cayenne out, you most certainly can, but it adds an extra layer of flavor that most onion dips don't have.
