Ingredients

Bananas Foster

  • ¼ Cup Salted Butter
  • Cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 3 ½ tablespoon Banana Liqueur
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 3 Bananas - sliced

Bananas Foster Ice Cream

  • 2 Cups Whole Milk
  • 8 Oz Cream Cheese
  • 3.03 Oz Sonic Banana Shake Pudding Mix
  • 3 tablespoon Sugar
  • Bananas Foster

Instructions

Bananas Foster

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
  • Mix in sugar, Liqueur, vanilla and cinnamon.
  • When mixture starts to bubble add the bananas.
  • Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until Bananas are hot.

Bananas Foster Ice Cream

  • Place glass pitcher on the base.
  • Pour in the milk, cream cheese, pudding mix, sugar, and bananas foster.
  • Press the Frozen dessert button.
  • Once the blender is complete pour into deli food storage freezer containers and freeze for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

  • Dark rum is one of the main ingredients when making traditional Bananas Foster. It's not necessary in this recipe; however, feel free to add it if you prefer.
  • Be sure to let the cream cheese soften and come to room temperature before mixing all ingredients.
  • When serving, you might want to set your bananas foster ice cream in the fridge to soften for about 30 minutes.
