Ingredients

  • 10 Oz Angel Hair Coleslaw Cabbage - bagged
  • 5 Oz Shredded Carrots - about half a bag
  • 2 Tbsp. Dried Minced Onion
  • Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ Cup Buttermilk
  • ¼ Cup Whole Milk
  • Juice of one Lemon
  • 1 ½ Tbsp. White Vinegar
  • ½ tsp. Kosher Salt
  • ¼ tsp. White Pepper

Instructions

  • Add the Cabbage and the Carrots to a mixing bowl with an air-tight lid. Shake the veggies to combine.
  • Combine the remaining ingredients in a separate mixing bowl, and whisk to combine thoroughly.
  • Pour the Coleslaw Dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture, replace the lid, and shake it all up.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until ready to serve.

Notes

  • I recommend at least a 2-hour rest time in the refrigerator before serving. That will allow the flavors to meld.
  • This is a great make-ahead recipe and will be as good the following day, if not better. So, if you are making many different dishes, make this homemade coleslaw the night before and stick it in the fridge overnight.
