Ingredients

  • 4 Large Ripe Avocados
  • ½ Red onion - diced
  • 1 Poblano Pepper - seeded and diced
  • Juice of ½ a Lemon
  • Juice of ½ a Lime
  • 1 Tbsp. Tabasco Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Mash the avocados using a fork while still leaving some chunks for texture purposes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients stirring, until well combined. Serve as a dip or a topper to your favorite Mexican Dishes.

Notes

  • The most important part of this recipe is getting the avocados to the perfect ripeness. If they aren't ripe enough, your Guacamole will be flavorless, and if they're too mature, the flavor and texture will be off.
  • When shopping for your avocados for Guacamole, test them by feeling. They aren't ripe enough if they are super hard and there's no give. They're good to go if there is a little softness, but if they're super soft, they are too ripe and won't make great Guacamole.
  • If you prefer a smoother and creamy guacamole, add all the ingredients to a high-powered blender. The results are also fantastic!
