Butter Board: Savory Italian
This Butter Board Recipe is beautiful to serve and has a savory Italian flavor thanks to garlic butter, fresh rosemary, and radishes.

- Garlic Butter
- Pink Salt - coarsly ground
- Zest of One Lemon
- Parmesan Cheese - freshly grated
- Fresh Rosemary Leaves
- Radishes - finely sliced
Spread the garlic butter in rows across the board.
Zest a whole lemon evenly over the top of the butter.
Sprinkle coarse pink salt over all of the butter.
Shred a generous amount of fresh parmesan over the the entire top of the butter board.
Scatter the fresh whole rosemary leaves across the butter and evenly place the thinly sliced radishes to ensure almost every bite will have a slice.
Serve with sliced bread and/or crackers of your choice.
- If you plan on sprinkling any salt over your butter board, you may want to consider using unsalted butter.
- Place the sticks in a butter dish the night before to soften the butter. By the following day, the butter will be ready to spread.
- Ensure that each guest has enough butter spreaders to keep their own to avoid dipping directly in the butter or, even worse, double-dipping.
