Butter Board: Savory Italian

This Butter Board Recipe is beautiful to serve and has a savory Italian flavor thanks to garlic butter, fresh rosemary, and radishes.

Ingredients

  • Garlic Butter
  • Pink Salt - coarsly ground
  • Zest of One Lemon
  • Parmesan Cheese - freshly grated
  • Fresh Rosemary Leaves
  • Radishes - finely sliced

Instructions

  • Spread the garlic butter in rows across the board.
  • Zest a whole lemon evenly over the top of the butter.
  • Sprinkle coarse pink salt over all of the butter.
  • Shred a generous amount of fresh parmesan over the the entire top of the butter board.
  • Scatter the fresh whole rosemary leaves across the butter and evenly place the thinly sliced radishes to ensure almost every bite will have a slice.
  • Serve with sliced bread and/or crackers of your choice.

Notes

  • If you plan on sprinkling any salt over your butter board, you may want to consider using unsalted butter.
  • Place the sticks in a butter dish the night before to soften the butter. By the following day, the butter will be ready to spread.
  • Ensure that each guest has enough butter spreaders to keep their own to avoid dipping directly in the butter or, even worse, double-dipping.
